MIART 2026 took place on October 1, 2026 at MICCAI 2026 in Strasbourg. Many thanks to our keynote speakers, all presenting authors, the reviewers, and everyone who joined us in Room Londrezs 1.

Congratulations to Blanca Rodriguez-Gonzalez et al., winners of the MIART 2026 Best Paper Award for Can We Trust Synthetic CT Algorithms? Uncertainty-Aware Evaluation of CBCT to CT Synthesis for Adaptive Proton Therapy.

Slides from both keynotes and all nine oral presentations are now linked in the programme below. We look forward to welcoming you again next year — follow us on LinkedIn for news about the next edition.

At a Glance

Twenty-seven papers were accepted; see the full list of accepted papers. All 27 were presented as posters, and nine were additionally selected for oral presentation across three thematic sessions, alongside two invited keynotes. The programme below gives the full schedule, with links to the presentation slides. All accepted papers will appear in the MICCAI 2026 Springer proceedings. See About & Announcements for the full acceptance statistics and the latest news.

MIART Workshop 2026 is endorsed by the European Society for Radiotherapy and Oncology (ESTRO).

Programme

The workshop took place in Room Londrezs 1 (ground floor), 08:00 – 12:30, as listed in the official MICCAI 2026 Satellite Events programme.

Each oral contribution was allotted 8 minutes for presentation + 2 minutes for questions. Oral sessions were grouped thematically; the first two were each paired with the keynote that preceded them. All 27 accepted papers, including the nine selected for oral presentation, were also presented as posters; see the papers page for the complete listing. Slides for both keynotes and all nine oral presentations are linked from the table below.
